Victoria returned to the College, where she studied Music, for the first time since she left in 2002 before achieving chart success. After looking round the College's £15 million redevelopment, she commented on how different the College is now with better facilities for students.
Victoria recorded three tracks in the College's professional recording studio and was interviewed about her experiences and influences from when she attended the college between 2000 and 2002.
The visit provided an excellent experience for a number of current college students. Two Media Production students were given hands on experience in setting up the shoot with the film crew, Music students assisted with the setting up of the sound studio and College magazine students were able to interview Victoria for the latest issue.
Students found the experience and the opportunity to meet the pop star extremely rewarding. Music Student Vicky Greaves, 17, said, "I really enjoyed the experience of recording little boots, because we got to help the crew bring in and set up the equipment and see everything done in such a proffessional way. Everyone was really friendly and thankful for our help, and we had the chance to speak to Victoria where she gave us advice about university."
